Materials & Making:
The Canopy self watering planter is mouth blown from recycled glass. Locally-sourced clear jars and bottles are sorted, crushed and heated in the furnace until molten. The skilled glassblower gathers, shapes and then blows the molten glass into different moulds to form the separate parts of the self-watering planter. Air bubbles will occur as part of this handmade process using 100% recycled materials. The cork is a natural material which is 100% biodegradable, recyclable and renewable based on a sustainable cycle.
